products must come from smallholdings or factories which guarantee
their employees decent working conditions and adequate wages
as well as social benefits in addition to strictly forbidding
enforced labour or children in the workplace. The
producers endeavour to use environmentally friendly practices
in every aspect of production.
The
producers engage themselves to furnish top quality products
and to be monitored as to their adherence to the principles
of fair trade. They receive in exchange, from their partners,
a guarantee of fair and stable prices, with the goal of sustainable
and equitable business relations for the long term.
